Hypothesis: Vegan diet helps prevent hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases

Gathered data from people about their diets and history of cardiovascular diseases


To determine the effects of diet, I went to clinics, religious groups, and restaurants (with permission from all) to put up flyers so I could gather data for analysis. With this information, I could compare the rates of hypertension and cardiovascular disease between those with vegan diets and those with other diets. This way, I could determine if maintaining a plant-based diet such as veganism could actually statistically help in decreasing risk of cardiovascular issues.
